The VUT women’s Captain Karabo “Scara” Molefha asserts that even though they have faced a lot of challenges prior to the games due to COVID-19, they are still certain about participating at the Club Championships. Scara who’s also the Captain of Botswana National Team pronounces that; “Besides the challenges brought by the Pandemic, we are happy to be back on court and we have prepared as much as possible for the championships.” “Apart from the challenges experienced as a team, we are more than ready to compete and to strive to win and participate at the prestigious Zone 6 Championships”, Karabo emphasised.
Apart from losing at the recent Gauteng tournament, VUT women’s team attained silver and bronze accolades at the 2019 Tubby Reddy Cup and 2019 VSA Cup respectively.
